- Our business name is Dusty Veil, our names are Nada and Salha.
- (Nada): Salha and I are two friends who met at uni in NZ 11 years ago and have been friends ever since. Salha is a mother of 2 beautiful young boys and has finished her studies as a primary school teacher. I (Nada) am a psychology student working towards becoming a registered psychologist. We both work on Dusty Veil together and really enjoy doing so!
- We are two friends who wear hijab ourselves and have struggled with finding the right styles, materials, and colours we like in
NZ. We realised that we weren’t the only ones struggling to find affordable, fun, and comfy hijabs to match our outfits and styles so decided to bring Dusty Veil to NZ. Dusty Veil is for anyone who enjoys wearing scarves, be it as a hijab, or as an accessory to an outfit to add that little bit of color! Anyone can enjoy a Dusty Veil scarf and we offer so many different materials, colours, and styles that everyone is sure to find what they are looking for. We try to keep the scarves really affordable too so we can cater to everyone’s needs including young school girls who need scarves to match their uniform. - Dusty Veil is a fairly new small business, we have been around for nearly three years now!
- What inspires us the most is that there really is a need for more versatile and affordable scarves in NZ. We love to see our clients look confident and gorgeous when they find that right scarf, in their favourite color! It makes us so happy to provide affordable, beautiful scarves for anyone who wants or needs them. We wish we had Dusty Veil around when we were younger, especially in our school and Uni days. We get to enjoy the scarves ourselves now though so that’s a delight!
